Chief Executive Officer
Mark’s enthusiasm for Triumph Foods is limitless. Appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2014, his passion for organizational performance, effectiveness, process innovation, and superior food quality and customer service plays out in everything he touches. Mark is a 29-year veteran of the Pork Industry, having previously served as Triumph’s Chief Operating Officer since 2004. Prior to joining Triumph Foods, Mark held various management roles at Seaboard Foods and Seaboard Corporation including; Senior Vice President Operations, Vice President Business Development, and Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Corporate Controller over a period of 17 years. Prior to working for Seaboard, Mark worked in public accounting as CPA for KPMG. Mark was raised on a small farm in rural Illinois, attended Westminster College, in Fulton, Missouri where he earned a B.A. in Accounting and obtained a Master of Business of Administration degree from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri.
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin joined Triumph Foods in 2017 after 8 years at Gavilon Grain in Omaha, Nebraska, where he served as Vice President, Treasurer and more recently as Vice President of Producer Solutions. He spent the first 12 years of his career in the meat packing and processing industry working at Swift Independent Packing Company in Dallas, Texas; Monfort in Greeley, Colorado; and ConAgra Refrigerated Foods in Chicago, Illinois. Over the next 10 years, he held various roles of increasing responsibility at ConAgra Foods in Omaha, Nebraska, including Assistant Treasurer, Assistant Corporate Secretary, Vice President Insurance and Loss Control, and Senior Director of Corporate Strategy.
As CFO, Kevin is responsible for providing leadership in finance, accounting, treasury, tax, insurance, risk management, investments, contract review, governance and legal matters. Additionally, he supports the leadership team in developing and executing strategic plans that will advance the Company’s mission and objectives.
Kevin grew up on a farm in North Central Iowa. He earned an Agricultural Engineering degree from Iowa State University and has an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
Chief Integration and Business Strategy Officer
Matt is responsible for strategic planning, business innovation, margin management, hog procurement, stockyard operations, research and development and information technology initiatives for the Company. He has previously served as Director of Strategic Planning, and also led a wide array of important business functions including food safety and quality assurance. Matt joined Triumph Foods in 2006. Prior to joining Triumph Foods Matt worked as an Audit Manager with Cochran, Head & Company. Matt grew up in Nebraska and holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the University of Nebraska where he graduated with Honors, was a Regent’s Scholar and National Merit Scholar.
Chief Operating Officer
Frank oversees all manufacturing and engineering operations for the Company. Frank joined Triumph Foods in 2005 as Assistant Vice President and was promoted to Vice President Operations and Engineering in 2009. Prior to joining Triumph Foods, Frank spent 4 years with Hatfield Quality Meats as Vice President of Operations and 3 years with Seaboard Foods as Operations Manager. Frank studied Agriculture Mechanization and Management Leadership at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Joe oversees finance and accounting functions for Triumph Foods and represents the Company on matters involving investors, banking, rating agencies, auditors and other financial matters. Joe also performs the function of Corporate Secretary and serves on the Compensation and Audit Committee. Joe has played an instrumental role in many of Triumph’s organic growth and acquisition initiatives. Joe joined Triumph Foods in 2005 after serving 11 years in Chief Financial Officer assignments in private equity ownership and privately held specialty chemical and janitorial cleaning and maintenance service companies. Joe began his career with KPMG where he served in progressive roles for 16 years. Joe grew up in Kansas City where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rockhurst College before becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
Vice President Human Resources, Communications, Environmental & Administrative Services
Kevin brings over 20 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies and a strong background in aligning HR and Manufacturing strategies with corporate objectives. Prior to Triumph Foods Kevin was with Smith Electric Vehicles US Corp., where he served as VP of Administration and HR. Before then, Kevin was VP of Human Resources and Administration for Farmland Foods, Inc. operating 11 production facilities from 1999 to 2008. From 1992 to 1999, Kevin served as VP of Corporate Human Resources for the Lee Apparel Company. Kevin has a B.S. Degree from University of Central Missouri and had completed Post Graduate Executive institute of Cooperative Leadership, University of Missouri and Advance Labor Practices at Harvard. He currently serves on the Kansas City and Vicinity Workforce Investment Board of Directors as well as The Kansas City Community Improvement District Board of Directors and the Kansas City Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Vice President Genetics and Livestock Procurement
Jerry oversees Triumph Foods’ animal genetics and hog procurement. Jerry joined the Company in 2004 after a 12-year career with Farmland Industries where he held significant leadership roles to include Director, America’s Best Pork in which he was responsible for launching genetics programs and procuring hogs for Farmland. Before joining Farmland Jerry worked with Union Equity Co-operative Exchange for 11 years. Jerry grew up in Oklahoma and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, both from Oklahoma State University.
